Fuel
When you rent a car in Ghana with driver, you pay for fuel expenses. It does not form part of your rental fees. The client or visitor is expected to buy fuel whilst travelling. Cars depart with full tank. The driver is expected to return the car with the same level of fuel. Additional charges are made for fuel expenses in case the client wish to go the extra mile.
Driver/ Tour Guide
Your rented car comes with an experienced Ghanaian driver. Most of the drivers are helpful and familiar with most of the routes, places and sites in Ghana and Accra. He receives a daily allowance for his service. This covers his daily expenses.
Insurance
The vehicle you rent is well insured. Maintenance, damages, technical faults are the sole responsibility of the car rental company. The client shall not be held responsible for any of these or any expense as a result.
Driving Style
Ghana car rental drivers are selected and trained in safe driving practices. This is key because traffic in Ghana can be quite busy and chaotic. Over speeding is also a problem especially on the main roads.
Repairs
In case of incidental technical problems the driver have to liaise with their authorities at the office. Car problems are usually easily-fixed in Ghana on the spot. Payments are done by the rental company directly. Clients are requested to do advance cost of small repairs in some cases.
Payments
No payment is made to the driver. The client is required to make payments in full, latest on the day of travelling. Mode of payments could be bank transfer, cash payments and online payment.
